Layout

The Web Dashboard allows you to configure the Pivot's layout. You can expand and collapse groups, specify the totals visibility, etc.

Expand and Collapse Groups

If the Columns section or Rows section contains several data items, the pivot table column and row headers are arranged in a hierarchy, and make up column and row groups.

You can collapse and expand row and column groups using the and buttons.

Layout Settings

The actual collapsed state of column and row groups is not saved in the dashboard. However, the Web Dashboard allows you to specify the collapsed state by default. You can also control the visibility of totals and grand totals. To do this, open the Layout section in the Pivot's Options menu.

The following layout settings are available.

  • Auto Expanded Column Groups - Specifies whether column groups should be collapsed or expanded by default.

  • Auto Expanded Row Groups - Specifies whether row groups should be collapsed or expanded by default.

  • Column Totals - Controls the visibility of column totals.

  • Row Totals - Controls the visibility of row totals.

  • Column Grand Totals - Controls the visibility of column grand totals.

  • Row Grand Totals - Controls the visibility of row grand totals.
